FREE Buy & Collect

To use Buy & Collect on our app, please ensure you have updated to the latest version, available in the App Store. Alternatively, Buy & Collect is available on our mobile site – just type houseoffraser.co.uk into your browser when using a mobile device.

You can buy online and collect from any House of Fraser store. This service is available 7 days a week and is FREE of charge.

Order before 8pm for collection instore from 12noon the NEXT DAY or on a day of your choice.

Please note: If you are collecting from our Belfast or Dundrum store, you will need to allow up to 72 hours for delivery. Our City and Cirencester stores do not open on Sundays. Not all products are available for Buy and Collect and this will be noted on its information page.

Here's how it works:

Step 1 - Buy Online

Place your order online by 8pm on any day of the week and your order will be available to collect instore from 12noon the following day or on a day of your choice (up to 14 days later). If you place your order after 8pm, the earliest time it will be available for collection is the day after tomorrow (i.e. an order placed after 8pm on Monday will be available for collection from 12noon on Wednesday).

If you are collecting your order from our Belfast or Dundrum store, please allow up to 72 hours for delivery (i.e. an order placed before 8pm on Monday will be available for collection from 12noon on Thursday).

If you wish to collect your order from the City or Cirencester stores, please be aware that these stores do not open on Sundays.

Whichever store you choose, we will send you a text message and email when your items are ready for collection at your chosen store.

The Buy & Collect service is available for most, but not all, items online. Therefore, we suggest you check the individual product pages to see whether the item is available for this service.

Step 2 - Collect in Store

When you arrive in store, please go to the Buy & Collect desk to pick up your order. Details of this can be found on our store pages or simply ask a member of staff in store.

Remember! When collecting your order please bring the following with you:

1. A copy of your confirmation, despatch, or ready for collection email, or your ready for collection text
2. The card that you used to purchase the items, or photographic ID (a driving licence or passport which must correspond to the identity of the purchaser).
3. If your order contains age-restricted product (e.g. alcohol), then you must bring proof of ID. We operate a Think 21 policy in our English, Welsh and Irish stores and a Think 25 policy in our Scottish stores and if you are lucky enough to look under this age please do not be offended if a member of staff asks you for proof of ID to establish that you are over 18.

If you would like someone else to collect the order on your behalf, they must bring both the above to the Buy & Collect desk, plus your written permission. If your order contains age-restricted product (e.g. alcohol) we will not be able to provide your order to the person collecting if they are under the legal age relevant to the product within your order.

If, for any reason, you are unable to collect your order when it’s ready, please contact the store to arrange an alternative date for collection. But, do not worry, we will keep your order at your chosen store for seven (7) days from the date of delivery to the store.

After this period, you will be contacted and offered the opportunity to extend the collection date or to have a refund via your original method of payment and the item/s returned to our warehouse. Orders purchased using a House of Fraser Gift Card, Gift Voucher or eVoucher will be refunded in the form of eVouchers. Where Gift Cards, Vouchers or eVouchers have been used as tender for an order (whether in whole or in part), any item that is automatically returned within that order will be refunded first in eVouchers to the same value that was originally spent in Gift Cards or Vouchers. Any remaining balance will then be refunded to the payment card (if used).

Collect+ - £4 (Monday to Friday)

Collect+ is a new service that delivers your order to a local convenience shop. Order before 7pm for collection 2 days later. Not all products are available for Collect+ and this will be noted on its information page.

With a network of over 4,500 local shops, open from early until late and often 7 days a week, Collect+ allows you to drop off or pick up parcels at a time and place that suits you.

You will receive an email and SMS confirmation between 12 noon and 7pm to let you know that your order is available for collection. (Please note that delivery to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands will take a day longer.)

LARGE ITEMS - £3

You will receive your order in 3-5 working days, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 8pm

Delivery is only available to the UK mainland. This does not include delivery to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Ireland, the Scilly Isles, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

We are not able to give you a specific delivery time.

Free Delivery

There is no charge for their professional 'direct to your door' delivery service, regardless of how many items you order. However, there is a small additional charge of £6.99 for Rapid Delivery and an additional charge of £9.79 for Northern Ireland.

Multiple Deliveries

If you order your appliances together they will be delivered together, regardless of how many different products or brands that you order!

Quick and Efficient Service

All appliances come from their central warehouse and are normally available for UK mainland delivery within 3-7 days (typically within 14 days for Northern Ireland). A rapid delivery service is available on selected appliances, which takes as little as two days to be delivered (excluding Northern Ireland).

Commitment Dates

Delivery is available to all UK mainland postcodes 7 days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays for £9.99 extra. (This excludes Northern Ireland and selected postcodes for the Isle of White).

4-Hour Delivery Slots

You will receive a call the evening before your delivery between 7:30 and 10:00 to confirm your 4 hour delivery slot.

Delivery Day Communication

Your driver will call you the morning of delivery, between 7am – 10am to reconfirm your 4 hour delivery slot...

Professional Two-man Delivery Teams

All deliveries are carried out by a fully trained and professional two man team to ensure that your appliances are carried safely into a room of your choice.

Connection

Your new appliances can be connected for a small additional charge of £14.99 to save you the hassle of having to book your own fitter (which usually costs an average of £80.)

 

FURNITURE - £30

FREE delivery available for orders over £1,500.

An offer of delivery will be made within 7 days of placing your order. The initial offer of delivery will be for a specific day, depending on the location of the delivery address. The delivery company will contact you the day before delivery with a 2 hour delivery window. If the delivery date is unsuitable, then an alternative date will be offered.

Receive your delivery on a specified day, Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 6pm

Delivery is only available to the UK and EIRE. This does not include delivery to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

An offer of delivery will be made within seven days of you placing your order. The initial offer of delivery will be for a specific day, dependent on the delivery address. The delivery company will contact you the day before delivery with a three hour delivery window. If the delivery date is unsuitable, then you can agree an alternative day with the delivery company.

All products are usually delivered to the room of your choice and will be assembled by us, unless otherwise stated.  You are required to ensure that the product will fit your property and can be easily transported. We include product weights and dimensions on our website and if you are unsure about anything, you must call us before placing your order.

Upon delivery the crew will ask you to inspect the packaging for any sign of damage. Please take time to ensure that everything is in order. Once the product has been assembled (if applicable), you will be asked to inspect the item for any sign of damage and then sign a customer satisfaction note. Please take the time to fill in as much detail as possible. All wrapping will be removed after your final inspection. Should you prefer to not have the goods unpacked and assembled (if applicable), the delivery team will unwrap the goods for inspection and then re-cover the product using the original packaging.

If you cannot accommodate delivery of your furniture within 21 working days of the notified date of delivery, the delivery company will store the goods. However, this will incur a storage charge payable directly to the delivery company. They will advise you of the charge which will vary dependent on the number of days and type and size of the furniture being stored.

If there is no-one available to accept the delivery on the day agreed with the delivery company, a £80 charge will be payable directly to the delivery company in order that a redelivery may be attempted and they will contact you to arrange an alternative date. If the alternative date is not within 21 working days of the original date of delivery, the delivery company will store the goods. However, this will also incur a storage charge payable directly to the delivery company. They will advise you of the charge which will vary dependent on number of days and type and size of the furniture being stored.

If you are unable to accommodate the delivery, you must inform us at least 24 hours in advance of the delivery date to arrange another date at no extra charge. However, if the alternative date is not within 21 working days of the original date of delivery, the delivery company will store the goods. However, this will incur a storage charge payable directly to the delivery company. They will advise you of the charge which will vary dependent on number of days and type and size of the furniture being stored.

Flexa Furniture

Delivery is available Monday to Friday

Orders placed with Flexa UK Ltd will be delivered by Masters Logistics Ltd. Flexa UK Ltd will confirm the order, while Masters Logistics Ltd will be in touch to agree a specific date and time. You will be contacted by email to confirm the delivery date.

When your order arrives, you will be able to inspect the product before signing for delivery.

Each order will include a delivery note with return instructions and contact details for Flexa UK Ltd.

If you are not home when your order is delivered, we will be in touch to re-arrange delivery.

Delivery is available to all of the UK

LARGE TVs & TECHNOLOGY - FREE

Choose to receive your order Monday to Friday, between 8am and 8pm

You will be prompted to choose a specific day to suit you. Order before 12noon if you would like your TV delivered tomorrow.

The first available delivery day for orders placed after 12pm on Friday or any time on Saturday or Sunday is Tuesday. We are not able to give you a specific delivery time.

Delivery for TVs 26" or over is only available to the UK mainland.This does not include delivery to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Ireland, Scilly Isles and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

FRESH FOOD - £6

Our fresh food comes from Inverawe Smokehouse (deliveries Tuesday to Friday) and Paxton & Whitfield (deliveries Tuesday to Thursday)

Order before 3pm for Next Day delivery, between 9am and 5pm.

Orders placed after 3pm on Friday and any time on Saturday or Sunday will arrive on Tuesday. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

These products can only be delivered to UK mainland (excluding some Scottish Highlands and Islands or Remote areas, please click here for specific postcodes). This does not include delivery to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Ireland and the Scilly Isles.

PAXTON & WHITFIELD DIRECT DESPATCH DETAILS

• Paxton & Whitfield despatch Monday to Wednesday on a next day delivery basis (Tues, Weds or Thurs.)

• As some of these products are perishables, Paxton & Whitfield do not deliver on Fridays, to prevent orders being stored over the weekend.

• Paxton & Whitfield use UPS Standard Delivery service, which is a next day delivery service (Tuesday to Thursday between 9am and 6pm).

• The customer must ensure that someone is in between these hours to sign for the delivery on the date specified for delivery.

• The customer must provide a daytime contact number for the recipient in the event that Paxton & Whitfield may encounter difficulties with the delivery.

• Paxton & Whitfield will only use this information to contact the recipient, regarding the delivery of the order.


Delivery Instructions

• It is a signed for delivery. If a signature is unobtainable, the parcel will be stored until further instructions are given.

• Delivery instructions are given at the customer’s risk. E.g. ‘Leave in garage if no-one is in’.

• Paxton & Whitfield cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery of goods, if insufficient or inaccurate details are supplied. In the event of non-delivery due to insufficient or inaccurate details, the customer will be charged for delivery and the value of the goods will not be refunded.

• For UK mainland delivery (excluding Highlands and Islands), Paxton & Whitfield charges £10, to cover postage and packaging, including chilled, insulated packaging where appropriate.


Substitutions

• Part of the attraction of artisan food is that it varies from season to season, so product may not taste identical each time. Should an item become unavailable, Paxton & Whitfield will substitute with a product considered equal in terms of style and value.

• If an order has not been received or the customer is unhappy with the order, they must contact House of Fraser within 24 hours of anticipated delivery.


Returns and Refunds

• Should a customer wish to return a product, they should contact House of Fraser. Paxton & Whitfield will determine whether a credit will be issued to the client.

• Paxton & Whitfield are unable to accept the return of perishable products.


Cancellations

• Paxton & Whitfield reserve the right not to accept or to cancel any order, once accepted, without penalty.


Age Restrictions

• Sales of alcohol and knives are restricted to those of the age of 18 and over.


Optional Extras

• Customers are able to have a gift message included with their order at no extra cost. Paxton & Whitfield are able to provide a quote for further bespoke requirements.

Deliveries outside the UK are subject to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions. Please ensure that you enter the correct international delivery address and postcode. If the international delivery is outside the EU, is it advisable to keep your total basket value below the customs duty threshold of the destination country. You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from us, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
