GIFT VOUCHERS

1. House of Fraser Sterling gift vouchers are redeemable against any merchandise in England, Scotland and Wales House of Fraser stores. House of Fraser Euro gift vouchers are redeemable against any merchandise in House of Fraser, Dundrum, Ireland only.
2. Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.
3. Gift vouchers can be redeemed online, please see the Voucher Redemption section for more information.
4. Multiple vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the goods being purchased.
5. For purchases instore where vouchers offered have a greater value than the goods being purchased, change above £4.99 will be returned in vouchers.
6. Gift vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or used for the purchase of gift vouchers in-stores or via the House of Fraser website.
7. Gift vouchers may be used to make payments in respect of an account card or credit card issued by GE Capital Bank Limited. Unfortunately, this facility is unavailable online.
8. House of Fraser reserves the right to refuse to accept a voucher which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise are suspected to be affected from fraud.
9. Gift vouchers are void if the perforated tear-off area has been removed.
10. Gift vouchers will expire on the date marked on the voucher. Gift vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non refundable.
11. Gifts vouchers are issued by House of Fraser (Stores) Ltd.
12. Gift vouchers cannot be accepted for the payment of House of Fraser large kitchen appliances.
13. Old style House of Fraser Gift Vouchers which display the stag logo are no longer valid and must be replaced with the current design Gift Vouchers. Please visit your local store to arrange replacements.

GIFT CARDS

1. The Gift Card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
2. Gift Cards can be activated with a minimum value of £5 or €5 and have a maximum value limit of £1,000 or €1,000.  Gift Cards can be topped up in stores to the maximum value limit.
3. Gift Cards are only redeemable for merchandise in House of Fraser stores in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
4. The Gift Card cannot be used online or for telephone/mail order purchases.
5. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or to purchase financial services.
6. No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases.
7. One Day Shopping Cards may not be used to activate or top-up a card.
8. The Gift Card will expire 24 months from date of last load e.g. card activation, top-up or refund. At expiry, any remaining balance will be lost.
9. Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.
10. Please protect this Card and treat it as cash.  House of Fraser cannot be held liable for Gift Cards, once activated, which are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged. 
11. If any product purchased with a Gift Card is exchanged or refunded, any money owing will be added to the balance on the Card.
12. Customers must be present with the Gift Card in order to make purchases in store.
13. House of Fraser reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.
14. House of Fraser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the Gift Card service, notify of the service’s withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control.)  Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.
