PISTACHIO & COFFEE MARTINI AND VENISON BURGER
This taste combination might sound like a mismatch but the earthiness of the coffee beans complement the gamey flavours of the venison, the acidity of the gin-pickled gherkins and the richness of the quail eggs.
“These salty, smokey, earthy flavours make for a perfect match with an espresso martini,” says Hannah. “A perfect pick-me-up to keep the party going.”
ROSEMARY SLOE & GINGER FIZZ AND TREACLE-CURED SALMON BLINI
Take the classic duo of bubbles and salmon, and update them with black treacle marinade and the zest of grapefruit ‘teardrops’.
“These flavours work really well with earthy beetroot and rosemary,” says Hannah.
MINCE PIE OLD FASHIONED AND ORANGE-INFUSED TOFU WITH POTATO CRUNCH
“This veggie canapé and cocktail explore the very essence of Christmas:
cranberry, currents and orange-infused tofu, all wrapped up in a plummy hoisin sauce,” says Hannah. “We serve this with a smokey, rye whisky that has been sweetened with Christmas fruits.”
