FOR YOUR T-ZONE

Your T-zone is the area across the forehead and down to the nose and chin. Most of us are prone to oiliness here, so tackle the grease by applying a mattifying charcoal or clay face mask. These face mask heroes draw out excess oils and impurities, leaving your skin fresh and smooth. House of Fraser Skincare Buyer, Catherine Womersley says, “Start multi-masking on your T-zone first, but before you do you take a small patch test on your hand. This way, you know whether or not your skin is going to react negatively to the mask.”

FOR UNDER YOUR EYES

We hate having dark circles as much as you do. Did you know they’re one of the first signs of sleep deprivation, stress and fatigue? But rest assured - a rejuvenating mask will bring your skin back to its normal self. Or if fine lines are bothering you, it’s most likely caused by a lack of collagen, a protein which gives your skin its elasticity. “Before applying your face or eye mask, dab a small amount of eye gel or cream around the eyes,” explains Catherine. “This helps to protect this delicate area from dehydration.”

FOR YOUR CHEEKS

Your cheeks have exposure to everyday pollutants, which can make them dry, red and prone to spots. Soothe them with face masks that re-hydrate and leave your skin radiant and silky. Catherine recommends, “In the winter, your cheeks are more likely to dry up and may even peel slightly, so don't exceed the recommended time of your multi-masks as it may turn flaky and draw the moisture back out of your skin.”
