City weddings are synonymous with sleek, classic makeup.
Step 1.Brighten the under-eye area with Corrector and Concealer. Corrector neutralises any discolouration under the eyes and brightens the skin so when you apply your skin tone correct Concealer on top, you create a flawless finish with absolutely no shadow. Brighten your skin with some Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm that will hydrate your skin and prime it for makeup but also give your skin the most subtle of glows with its multi tonal light reflecting particles. Then apply your Foundation over the top, starting at the centre of the face and working outwards.
Step 2.Set your Foundation and Concealer first with Sheer Finish Pressed Powder to lock your Foundation in place for the day. To further brighten and even out skin tone or discolourations apply a dusting of Retouching Powder in a colour-correct shade depending on your concern. Pay extra attention to the skin between your brows and either side of your nose and make sure you mattify as wet makeup can give off a white shine on camera.
Step 3.When wearing a light coloured outfit can be quite draining on your skin tone so it's important to makeup sure you warm your skin so you look as healthy as possible. Take a matte bronzer (I love my Medium Bronzing Powder) and dust over the top of the cheekbones, temples and over the top of your forehead where the sun would naturally hit. You may need to dust a little under your chin to ensure your face, neck and chest are all the same tone.
Step 4.Bobbi has always taught the theory of 'double blushing' for the most natural flush, especially for brides. First dust your natural blush shade-the shade you cheek flush when pinched gently for example (mine is Sand Pink) over the apples of your cheek and out tower your bronzer. Then, take a 'pop' colour like Pale Pink blush and sweep that over the apples of the cheek for extra brightness and you'll achieve that gorgeous, blushing bride look.
