THE RETURN OF BIBA

Iconic, daring, spirited – Biba is the label that defined the style of the swinging '60s and '70s and it's looking better than ever this autumn/winter. With a collection that pays homage to founder Barbara Hulanicki’s signature style, you can expect opulent interiors, ‘70s-inspired fashion and a helping of Hollywood glamour reminiscent of the infamous Biba store that once resided on London’s High Street Kensington. There are currently no plans to re-launch Biba baked beans, but one can only live in hope. Get ready to step back in time…

SWEET DREAMS

If ever there was a case for never getting dressed, Biba sleepwear would be it. So long summer pastels, we’re far more interested in the resurgence of warm metallics - think gold or brass - which take their form in gilded accessories like candle holders, gold-rimmed glasses and even dinnerware. Yes, it all requires a little confidence, but keeping lines clean and art-deco inspired will help to maintain some visual calm.
