Long flowering ornamental grasses. From early summer, upright airy plumes rise above neat green clumps, starting in dark purple tones and gradually softening to pink. In autumn, the foliage and stems turn warm golden shades. They are especially useful for softening mixed borders, lifting prairie-style planting and weaving movement through perennials.
These hardy clump-forming grasses also work well in large patio pots, where the upright habit and fine texture can be appreciated up close. Once established, they show strong resilience to drought and cope well with exposed modern gardens.
With a mature size around 100cm tall and 70cm wide, Molinia 'Banshee' offers season-long texture, colour and structure in borders or containers with very little effort.
Supplied as a set of three established plants in 9cm pots, ready to plant. Please note: This product cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland.
