These juicy fruits offer a more intense flavour profile than traditional red strawberries, with a subtle hint of pineapple on the finish. Their striking appearance is equally captivating, with creamy white flesh speckled with red seeds, creating a reversed image of a typical red strawberry.
Flowering in May, these plants produce ready-to-pick fruit from June onwards. A unique advantage is their natural resistance to bird damage, as their unusual colouring often deters birds who mistake them for unripe fruit. For increased yields, plant 'Pineberries' alongside another strawberry variety.
