Description

Built around a max-cushion trail platform, Asics' GEL-Nimbus 28 TR sets an engineered mesh upper over a FlyteFoam Blast+ midsole with an 8mm heel drop. A wide midfoot base and firm sidewalls steady the neutral ride, while a reinforced toe bumper and internal heel counter add structure front and rear. At 280 g in men's size 9, it stays light for its cushioning.
Product Highlights
- FlyteFoam Blast+ midsole with PureGEL heel technology for controlled impact absorption over long distances
- ASICS Grip Sole outsole in a moderate lug pattern, holding traction on dry and mixed off-road ground
- Curved forefoot rocker and deep flex grooves that smooth heel-to-toe transitions
- Breathable engineered mesh upper, finished with a padded heel collar and pull tab for easy entry
- Ortholite-X55 insole over a mesh lining for softer step-in comfort
Best For
- Heel strikers covering long off-road miles who want more protection underfoot
- Road runners branching onto gravel paths and light trail routes
