The Nike Dragonfly 2 Proto is a men's track running spike built on a full-length ZoomX midsole, a Pebax plate and an engineered mesh upper.
It is a neutral-support spike for middle- and long-distance track racing.
Product Highlights
- Weight: 145g, 8.2% lighter than the average track spike. Less weight takes less energy to lift on every stride.
- Heel drop: 0mm. The foot stays close to flat, encouraging a midfoot or forefoot landing.
- Midsole foam: Full-length ZoomX. It stores energy as you land and returns it at toe-off.
- Plate: A Pebax plate. It helps sustain propulsion over longer race durations.
- Spike pins: Four interchangeable pins on a standard thread. Any brand's pins fit.
- Upper: Single-layer engineered mesh. Air flows through freely when racing.
- Fit and sizing: True to size, and wider in the midfoot and forefoot than the original Dragonfly. Toes get room to splay.
