Guzmania 'Ostara' is grown for bold colour and clean tropical style. Glossy green leaves fan out from the centre of the plant, creating a sculptural rosette that looks smart even when not in flower.
At the heart of the foliage sits a vivid orange red star-shaped bloom that provides long lasting indoor colour. Unlike many flowering houseplants, this display remains attractive for months, giving extended enjoyment with very little effort.
This plant grows well alongside other tropical houseplants such as palms, ferns and foliage plants, where its colour creates contrast and warmth. Its compact size also makes it suitable for pots on tables, shelves and windowsills.
