An easy and effective way to protect your plants through cold snaps. These Giant Fleece Plant Cosies are made from lightweight fleece to provide quick, reliable protection against frost, wind, hail, birds and insects, helping your plants stay healthy and strong.

Each cosy acts like a breathable blanket, shielding your plants down to -2 or -3C while allowing light, air and water to pass through. This means your plants continue to thrive, soil stays warmer, and germination improves, giving you stronger growth and healthier displays.

Drape them over young vegetables such as cauliflower and potatoes, keep strawberries and soft fruit safe, protect bedding in containers, or use them inside greenhouses and polytunnels for extra insulation. They're even useful for lawn reseeding, as the fleece helps to deter birds while retaining valuable moisture.

How to Use:

Lightweight, so no requirement for supporting hoops, simply drape over crops Use pegs, pins or large stones to secure the fleece down Wrap individual plants and then cover all plants with an extra layer if very cold Do not wrap more than necessary so light can also permeate Attach to panes inside greenhouse for heat insulation Do not cover plants when flowering to allow pollination To prevent sweating and trapping water which can lead to rot, remove fleece during extended periods of mild weather and replace again if cold weather comes.
