A breeding breakthrough. These compact Mock Oranges are the first Philadelphus to flower all summer long - filling your garden with intense fragrance and beautiful, double white blooms.

'Pearls of Perfume' was even shortlisted for RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year in 2023. Unlike traditional Mock Oranges, this variety flowers on both old and new wood, smothering branches with waves of blossoms from late spring onwards.

The scent is rich, citrus-sweet and long-lasting, drifting across patios and seating areas. The compact, upright habit to around 1.2m tall, fits beautifully into any garden style - from cottage to contemporary - and the dark green foliage provides an elegant backdrop even when not in bloom.

Fully hardy and easy to care for, 'Pearls of Perfume' thrive in sun or partial shade and only need light pruning after flowering to maintain shape. They are also beneficial for pollinators, as valuable nectar sources.
