The Philadelphus 'Petite Perfume' Collection is an outstanding trio of compact, scented plants bred for beauty, resilience and low-maintenance impact. Featuring two 'Petite Perfume Pink' and one 'Petite Perfume White', this set brings months of citrus-scented blooms to gardens, patios and pots.
'Petite Perfume Pink' scooped the prestigious RHS Plant of the Year title at the 2025 Chelsea Flower Show, thanks to its floriferous habit, soft pink flowers and knockout perfume. Its white-flowered sister plant shares the same genetics and intense fragrance, and is hardy to -25C and copes brilliantly with drought.
Both varieties grow to around 120cm tall and wide, keeping a naturally neat shape without overgrowing their space. Whether in a decorative pot on the patio, in a mixed border, or forming part of a pollinator-friendly planting scheme, they'll reward you with weeks of summer colour and unforgettable scent.
These are also low maintenance. Simply give them a light trim after flowering to maintain their form. Plant in sun or part shade with good drainage and they'll flourish year after year. Try pairing them with classic cottage garden favourites like lavender, salvia, nepeta or roses for a stunning seasonal display.
