What's more, this rose releases a wonderful fragrance, which wafts through the air, transforming the garden throughout summer and even into autumn.
'Margaret Merril' is brilliant for cutting for indoor displays, while it makes a great tidy bush rose for bigger pots or mixed borders, as the white flowers standout in the height of summer.
First produced all the way back in 1971, when the pollen of Rose 'Pascali' was brushed onto the stigma of an unnamed pink seedling - and when these seeds germinated and flowered a year later, the beautiful blooms released such a strong, sweet scent - the growers knew it was a winner right away.
