From the strikingly colourful 'Parrot' tulip group, 'Estella Rijnveld' is one of the most spectacular varieties around with frilly double blooms and flame streaked petals that have a wonderfully exotic feel to them. On warm spring days the blooms open wide and become almost flat, before closing again in the evening - so fascinating to see.
For best effect plant in close groups in a sunny spot - they're perfect in close groups in pots and containers on the patio. As with all our other tulips, they make beautiful cut flower displays - simply cut the long stems and place in groups in vases to dress up windowsills or mantelpieces.
They look truly spectacular but they're really not hard to grow and are perfect as an easy solution to adding bold spring colour with a twist to your garden next spring.
Supplied as 24 bulbs, size 11/12, ready for planting out in autumn. Please note: This product cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland.
