Christmas Grotto experience

If there’s one event that should sit firmly on your Christmas calendar every year, it’s a trip to visit Father Christmas himself. And from the 30th of November, the doors to our most beloved grottos will open once again, with a whole host of magic, merriment and good old fashioned festive cheer in store.

While the iconic grottos of Manchester, Birmingham and Jenners in Edinburgh return for another year, new additions will appear for the first time in Cheltenham and Norwich, with Santa working overtime until 3pm on Christmas Eve.

So what can you expect from your yearly visit to the North Pole? There’ll be opportunities to purchase a special keepsake photograph when your little ones meets the big man himself, while elves, fairy lights and a flurry of fake snow will be on hand to make sure your day is as magical as can be.

No Christmas would be complete without a trip to Santa’s Grotto

All of our grottos can be booked in advance following the links below, except Manchester where you can walk up on the day, with slots available Wednesday to Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 12pm-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm (breakfast with Santa 9am-12pm Saturday-Sunday).

And if a trip to the grotto isn't enough, in Manchester you'll be able to book in for a special "Breakfast with Santa" where you'll enjoy some quality time with Father Christmas. Just make sure you have your Christmas lists ready (to book please contact the store on 0344 800 3744).

Can’t make it to one of the five grottos? Head to your local store, where you can write your festive message on one of our red Santa tags and tie it to a golden tree for all to see. All donations will go to Action for Children, who work to give children in the UK a chance at a better future.
