Go fast and pull up. The DMR Colt wheel laces 36 spokes in a three cross pattern onto a double walled aluminium DV rim with a 26.5mm internal width, and it's stress-relieved and re-tensioned by hand before it goes out. At 1010g, there's little weight fighting you when you pull up.
