G5 Max THX Spatial Audio Gaming Headset - Space Gr

The Edifier HECATE G5 Max is a flagship wireless gaming headset engineered to deliver an uncompromising audio experience for the most demanding gamers. Co-developed with THX, the G5 Max combines a 53mm large PEN composite diaphragm driver with a 64O high-impedance acoustic architecture, achieving total harmonic distortion below 1% and 96kHz/24-bit audio processing for exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and pinpoint positional accuracy. Certified for both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, and supporting LHDC 5.0 for high-resolution wireless transmission, the G5 Max sets a new benchmark in gaming audio performance.

At the heart of the G5 Max's immersive soundscape is a custom THX 7.1.4 Spatial Audio system, co-developed exclusively by HECATE and THX, which uses real-time rendering and spatial positioning to process stereo and multi-channel signals across a full 360° sound field. Custom game audio presets, tuned in collaboration with professional FPS players, deliver finely calibrated positional awareness to give competitive gamers a meaningful edge. The dedicated HECATE driver software provides an intuitive unified control interface for EQ adjustment, audio preset switching, and full customisation of all headset functions, while the EDIFIER ConneX mobile app enables seamless on-the-go control of sound profiles, lighting effects, and battery status.

The G5 Max supports quad-mode connectivity — Bluetooth 6.0, 2.4GHz USB-C, 2.4GHz USB-A, and wired — ensuring full compatibility with PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, PS4/PS5, and Nintendo Switch. HECATE’s Flash Speed 2.4GHz wireless technology delivers ultra-low latency with an exceptionally stable connection, while battery life reaches up to 305 hours in Bluetooth mode and 227 hours in 2.4GHz mode. For communication, the G5 Max features a triple-microphone system comprising dual built-in mics and a detachable boom mic, all with AI-powered and Dual ENC noise cancellation for crystal-clear voice pickup in any environment. Weighing just 305g, the headset incorporates a patented Dragonfly Wing™ headband, self-lubricating 3D pivot metal arms, and high-resilience memory foam protein leather ear cushions for prolonged wearing comfort without fatigue.
