Fiery spring reds, cool summer greens and an autumn finale of orange, gold and crimson, the seasonal show these three varieties put on together is astonishing.
Slow growing and naturally compact, these are ideal container plants, so are equally at home in a large pot on a sunny patio as they are in a sheltered border. Once planted they are remarkably easy to maintain, asking very little and giving back an enormous amount.
Supplied as three established plants in 1.5 litre pots, ready to pot up or plant out. One each of:
Acer palmatum 'Phoenix' - vivid orange and red new growth in spring that gradually mellows to fresh green through summer, before igniting once more into spectacular fiery shades of orange, red and gold in autumn. H to approximately 2m. Acer palmatum 'Katsura' AGM - pink edged, yellow-orange leaves from early spring. The canopy fades to green over summer, before erupting into an orange inferno in autumn. H 1.5m. Acer palmatum 'Emerald Lace' AGM - emerald-green leaves which change to dazzling, fiery shades of red and orange in the autumn. H 1.5m. Please note: This product cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland.
