Grow your own unique treats with a Citrus 'Pink Caviar Lime'. Juicy pearls can be found inside each piece of ripe fruit, which transform from dark green to pink as an indication they are ready to pick. These pearls 'pop' when bitten, releasing a sublime flavour likened to grapefruit mixed with lime.
Evergreen thorny foliage stretches across this plant, joined by dainty white Spring to Summer flowers, and ready-to-pick fruit in Autumn.
This variety will thrive outside in conditions down to -5C. Keep it outside through much of the year before moving inside for Winter protection. Plus, it's self-fertile, so does not need to be near another variety for pollination.
Supplied as an established plant in a 4L pot, approximately 70-90cm tall, ready to plant.
