A striking foliage plant prized for thick, glossy arrow-shaped leaves with silvery white veins and set on elegant pink stems.
Alocasia 'Pink Dragon' makes an eye-catching addition to any houseplant collection, reaching up to 1.2m indoors, and bringing tropical energy to living rooms, home offices and hallways.
The range of shades is eye-catching, and rarely seen together on just one houseplant - deep green leaves, crisp silvery veins, purplish undersides and soft pink stalks.
Use a free-draining houseplant mix, water when the top of the compost begins to dry and avoid leaving the roots in standing water. This will keep the leaves thick and glossy while supporting steady, reliable growth.
Its upright form complements palms and snake plants, and it contrasts beautifully with fine-leaf grasses or airy asparagus fern. Place away from harsh direct sun for the cleanest leaves and richest colour. As with all alocasias, this is for ornamental use only and should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
